Summer 2013 Must-Haves!

Hello loves!

With summer right around the corner, I figured this would be the PERFECT post for all you readers.

I'm not gonna bore y'all with an introduction so let's just get on with the post, shall we?

SUMMER 2013 MUST-HAVES

1.  Flower Power!

It doesn't matter how you decide to wear the floral trend, I'm sure any girl can rock this oh-so stylish print.
This pattern has dominated the racks in all our favourite high street clothing brands so luckily for you, you can find this pretty much anywhere, even your grandmother's closet.

My Favorite: Pants.

2. TRIBALTRIBALTRIBAL

To me, tribal print just screams summer especially when it's bright & flirty like the picture above!
Just like the floral print trend, the tribal print trend can also be on any article of clothing, even your nails!

My Favorite: Leggings, rompers & nails.

3. Espadrilles!

You can find these shoes in every pattern and colour to suit every girl's taste but this unique pair by Chanel has certainly caught my eye!
Definitely on my wishlist.

4. Bustiers To Boot!

And no, I don't mean the bustiers women used to wear under their dresses during the Victorian times.
Bustier tops or 'bralets' seem to be everywhere in Topshop this season and believe me, I am not complaining!
You can pair these babies with everything, a high-low skirt, or a high-waisted pair of shorts/jeans.

& last but certainly not least...

5. Toast To A Bright Tote.

A bright tote is a must-have during every summer season, no matter what year!
They're the perfect bag to carry all the useless crap us girls seem to lug around.
& Oh boy, this barbie pink Marc Jacobs tote seems to be screaming my name!
Hey mum...

That concludes today's post & I really hope you all enjoyed it! Stay tuned for the upcoming summer-related posts but until then, you know where to find me!

Review: Coastal Scents

Calling all makeup addicts!

This post has to be the most requested out of all & it is the awaited Coastal Scents review.
Before we get into this post, I would like to say that I am not sponsored of affiliated by Coastal Scents. It's only one of my favourite AND affordable makeup brands of all time so I decided to share my opinion & experiences with the Coastal Scents products.

I am going to be reviewing:
- Eclipse Concealer Palette.
- 88 Original Palette.
- 28 Neutral Palette.
- 10 Blush Palette.
- 22 Piece Brush Set.

Eclipse Concealer Palette:

Retails at: 14.95$

This concealer palette is probably my favourite out of all the palettes. The concealers are so creamy and blends flawlessly. It works for almost all skin types(Dry, oily, normal) and is ideal for covering up imperfections and under eye circles.
Other than the 11 skin tone colors to choose from, there are also 4 other shades. There's green, lavender, yellow, & a shimmery white.
Green is used to cover up any redness. Just apply the green on your red pimples or around you nose and then follow up with your regular concealer & foundation routine.
Lavender is used to balance out any yellow tones and to brighten up a sallow complexion and again, follow up with your regular concealer & foundation routine.
Yellow is used to contract any purple-ish tones around the face(veins, and dark-purple under eye circles), follow up with your regular concealer & foundation routine.
White - shimmery color is used to highlight! It doesn't really conceal anything. Just apply some on where light usually hits your face so that means your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, brow bone, cupids bow and on your chin and forehead if you don't have oily skin.
Purchase this palette here.

88 Original Palette:

Retails at: 18.95$
This palette is my least used and least favourite palette out of all, to be honest. I'm not a huge fan of these bright colours in the palette but I still feel that this palette is an essential for every makeup fanatic out there.
It has average pigmentation on it's own but with a base, the colours are very vivid. It has a long lasting power, too.  Lasts for about a lifetime.
Purchase this palette here.

28 Neutral Palette:

Retails at 18.95$
This is my favourite eyeshadow palette that I've tried so far and although I don't tend to wear a lot of eyeshadow, I usually gravitate to this when I feel like putting some eyeshadow on.
It has better pigmentation that the 88 Original Palette and bigger eyeshadow pans.
A good MAC alternative.
Purchase this palette here.

10 Blush Palette:
Retails at 15.95$

I love this palette! It's quite inexpensive for 10 blushes that are pretty big, too. With this palette, I'm spoiled with choice! I try out a new blush colour almost everyday.
There are 4 matte(my favourite) and 6 shimmery blushes.
Some can even be used as bronzer!
Purchase this palette here.

22 Piece Brush Set:
Retails at 34.95$
This is a bit pricey compared to most of the palettes but if you think of it, it's actually very cheap for 22 GOOD quality brushes.
They don't shed and apply makeup flawlessly. They don't lose their shape after washing, either.
If you're starting off with makeup and want to build up your brush collection, I'd definitely recommend this and has almost every brush you need(& more!)
Purchase this set here.

I hope you all benefited from this post and please tell me if you ever end up buying these palettes!
Also, Coastal Scents has A LOT of sales so be sure to check out their website daily or just subscribe to their newsletter.
& lucky for you, all these palettes are currently on sale(Except for the concealer palette)!
